Balbuzard

®

The Saber no.1 gearbox

The Osprey's gear lever takes its origin from a cutlass forged from my imagination, heated to white in the hearth where the ambition to create what is not done burns.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

To my knowledge, the use of an object inspired by history for mechanical purposes is a first in the world of the truck.

Photo gallery no.2

- Named Balbuzard by the owner, in honor of the eagle that plunges from the air to cut the surface of the boreal waters, this ambitious achievement presents an exterior with clean lines and an interior that is neat, elegant, functional and inspired by the old 18th century wooden rigging. Imbued with both the privateer spirit and modern technological ingenuity, it bears witness to numerous journeys through technical disciplines, as well as an astonishing mastery of materials.

Story # 1

- This project is born from the association of two crazy people!

It is an adventure that begins in 2018, when a history buff and truck enthusiast meets an accomplished and unclassifiable multidisciplinary artist. The first provides private funding, while the second brings the creative genius and all-round talent needed to make the work a reality.

Story # 3

- Like many journeys, it is the result of many personal and professional sacrifices, a journey where the creator must at all times accept the constraints, adjust his pace and bypass the reefs without losing course. From a simple sketch drawn in pencil and after two years of relentlessness and mental and physical suffering, juggling with ideas, materials, electric machines and traditional tools, the work has become monumental.

Story # 4

- These photos and videos which, unfortunately, will never replace physical contact, suggest why you sometimes have to forget yourself to let yourself be tortured by the creative frenzy, to reach the dream destination, an adequate end, as faithful as possible to the vision poetic and emanations from the subconscious ...
